PC would not turn on unless psu was power cycled, now not at all.

A few weeks ago I noticed that after a restart or waking up from sleep, my PC would not turn on unless I turned my psu off and back on. Then it started happening even when I shut it down properly. a few days ago even power cycling the psu only worked intermittently, and sometimes the pc would come on for a brief moment (Lights on, fans spinning) and shut off.

The first time this happened I cycled the power supply and on boot up I got a message to the effect of "your overclock something or other", went into bios, reset to default, rebooted and then I got "no cpu fan detected". So I went back into the bios, disabled the fan profile, re-enabled the fan, and also re enabled the ASUS EZ-Tuning overclock and the PC booted back up normally with all the original settings I had before this whole mess started.

As of right now, nothing I do will make my poor baby turn on.

I Have:
-Swapped ram around in almost every conceivable way
-Checked that all of the screws were snug attaching my mobo to the standoffs and standoffs 2 case
-Unplugged everything from the psu not needed for a boot
-Checked the mobo for leaky, blown, or fried parts
-Tried shorting the pins/checked power button (My mobo has a power and reset button on it and neither of those work either)

I have changed no settings in the last 2 years, only added an extra hdd, an extra ssd, and upgraded my gpu.

Processor: i7 4790k
CPU Cooling: Corsair H100i
Mobo: Asus Maximus Hero VII
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNova 1050GS Gold
GPU: Evga Gtx 1080
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 4Gb x 4 2133mhz
OS: Windows 10
Is it the Mobo? Psu? I even read someone say their PC wouldn't turn on and all it took was replacing the Cmos battery. I'm out of Ideas at this point. Is there anything else one of you might recommend? I dont have any extra parts and really can't afford to buy a mobo, ram and Psu just for the sake of troubleshooting. Luckily Evga has awesome warranties, so at least I can send my psu in to be checked out if need be.

Thanks for your help!
