This is the computer I am currently using. I have never upgraded a PC ever this is a first for me. I have seen 4k gaming when I went over to a friends house, but I dont know if my computer has the power to do so. If anyone can give me some advice on things i can switch out to make this thing run smoothly at 4k that would be appreciated.

Depends on the games you like. Most games will ask at LEAST a gtx1080 for a smooth 4K experience and you may even have to go gtx1080Ti. It basically depends on your budget and the space in the case.
Do know though, that for anything beyond a gtx1060 level you will need a new PSU, as I don't trust an 80+ White PSU with expensive components.

optimally you need a gtx 1080 TI

you are going to need to upgrade the power supply as well, cyberpower is known to use sub-par units

a decent 650w unit from evga, seasonic, corsair, or xfx

This is my suggestion:
PCPartPicker part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/JXHXsZ

Video Card: MSI - GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB ARMOR Video Card ($754.98 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: Corsair - RMx 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($99.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $854.97
Prices include shipping and taxes.
btw, if you don't want to spend $754 on a high-end graphics card you can always wait for the next generation graphics cards that are just around the corner.
