Your best shot will be System Restore so start by hoping it's turned on. Press the Windows key and R together then in the Run box, type
control
and hit the Enter key.
When Control Panel shows up, go to System then System Protection. If Restore was turned on you will be able to take the system back to a point before the outage. You might not get everything back but it should offer you something.
