Hi there! When i built my Pc i installed the gpu in the pcie x16 slot. After i powered up the computer there was no signal from the gpu (just a black screen) and i thought the gpu is broken.I tried it in another computer and it worked without any problems. After this I was convinced that the pcie x16 slot is broken and i tested it with a gt 230 and guess what-worked without any problem. Now i am running the GTX 770 in a pcie x4 slot and it works good but between the case and gpu there is not enough space for my gpu to breathe (this leads to high temps in gaming).

I tried everything: different power supplies(650w),resetting the cmos, different monitors, different monitor cables(vga, dvi, hdmi and dp),I checked everything (cables, RAM, connectors).I don't have an integrated graphics card. Please help me, I'm out of ideas...

I don't have any more components in the pci slots. The gpu is the only part using a pci-e slot and it's currently installed in a pci-e x4.
