hello,

really noob question I recon, however I would appreciate any clarification =]

i have a 80gb ssd, and a 500 gb harddrive.
if i install windows and only system related programmes on the ssd, and then install of of my games and steam and origin etc on the other drive...

can i then format the game harddrive to essentially create a fresh copy of windows? as i am not touching windows?

the reasons behind this are, i play a lot of games, i am forever every week buying a new one, and then after 10 games, having to re install windows because of lack of space and i dont like to uninstall a game is it allways slows windows after some time, so im wondering if doing windows only on the ssd will save me having to go throuh the process of installing windows and updates etc every week?

please be blunt, i understand this question may have been asked, however i could only find variations of it and not an answer to my question specifically.
im not overly tech minded, but i understand most, i will not take offence to anyone who is short and blunt to the answer haha.

thanks in advance for your help =]

You can have things installed on whichever drive you choose.
You just have to select which drive when you install something.

Your Steam and Origin clients should be installed on the OS drive, the SSD.

You do NOT have to continually format the game drive or whatever. And formatting that has no effect on the Windows install on the little SSD.
