Hi.
If anyone can help me with a build, please.
I would like to run 4k gaming and 4k bluray iso on 2 different monitors.
I was thinking:
i7 8700k
2 x gtx 1080 sli
16gb ddr4
Sooo...the ideea is I don't wanna buuld a separate pc for watching 4k in the leaving room.
Have the computer in the gaming room with a 4k monitor AOC AGON AG271UG and in the leaving room run 4k bluray iso on a Sony KD-65A1.
Is it possible to run both in the same time withmy configuration?

I have a good budget.
What I don't want is over-spend on something that it just sounds good. But please tell me....

Instead of two GTX1080 in SLI I recommend waiting and getting single GTX1180 which is only 1-2months away. I also recommend getting 32GB RAM instead of 16GB as if you are gaming and using Blu-ray software at same time the utilization of RAM may peak 16GB depending on what software you are using.

Is the CPU good enough for the job? And is that 100% sure the the new gtx1180 will fully manage the job? Dont be offended Dranzer, just asking? Or should I build a NAS with Nvidia Shield TV and have a mini for gaming? My ideea was that they will both be on almost 24/7 so instead of bothering with 2 I'll build a super one.

If you are looking around 2K USD then I recommend getting GTX1180 but if you are looking at 3K USD then you get a choice of having two systems in one PC which is better suited for your requirement.

Without knowing your budget point I cannot decide which option is better for you. Please it will be lot helpful if you give me budget to work around.

I included the GTX1080Ti as a place holder for GTX1180 for power consumption and budget value. Get the GTX1180 when launched don't get the GTX1080Ti.

I included Quadro P2000 in Blu-ray build for its 10bit color support. GTX lineup supports 10bit but only over DirectX, Quadro lineup has no such limitation.

Both the builds go into single case and with single power supply.

Install that Corsair H100i V2 at top and the H80i V2 at rear of the case in pull config.

Just use a dedicated BlueRay player available anywhere for $79 or so...

4k BluRay is $115....
