Motherboard Z170X-gaming 3
2x 8gb g-skill
2x 4gb fury ram

My 4GB sticks are not running at all.
I’ll give more details if you need them.

Upgraded from i5-6400 to i5-7600K

Solution
I think you are going to have to underclock your ram.
I believe the default ram for 7 is higher than the 6
One of your memory kits can run the 7 speed the other can't
In the Bios you should be able to make the memory perform at 2133.
Ideally, you should put in the 6 series, boot up
load CPUZ and take screen shots of the RAM in each slot, then we can tell you more about the RAM

Screen shot of tab MEMORY
Screen shot of tab SPD Slot 1 all the way to Slot 4
Check the 4 GB sticks in the slots that are working to verify all RAM sticks functionality...

Might need to go with auto/SPD initially (vs. XMP 3200 MHz, etc), as generally mem speeds are reduced somewhat when all 4 slots are populated....

As you did a CPU swap, there is always a danger of an errant bent pin breaking functionality of one of the RAM channel pairs in the MB socket....

Hey mdd1963, thanks for the reply. What do you mean by auto SPD? And do you mean I may have bent one of the pins in the cpu socket?

Also, another interesting thing: when I use wo 8gb ram sticks in sockets right beside eachother, I can search “system information” in the start menu. As soon as I put the 8gb ram stick in the socket with one space in between, I get no “system information” option. Don’t know if this is related.

MERGED QUESTION
Question from Nooksva : "Upgrade CPU, ram isn't working"

Upgraded CPU from Intel-6400 to i5-7600k, update bios before.

Once I upgraded my CPU some ram doesn't work. Doesn't matter what order I put them in, only 16 of my 24 gigs will work. I've got 8 x2 and 4 x2. Put the old CPU back in and all 24 gigs work. Same cooler on both. Bios detects 24GB both times, computer only says 16. Maybe a voltage problem? I've got an EVGA 500W power supply bronze.

Thanks!

I got the 2x4 first and then the 2x8 next about a year ago.

The problem only started when I upgraded CPU’s. When I revert the cpu it goes back to being fine.
