Hey all,
This morning my computer starting giving me an issue “Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot media device and press a key”
Every time I have went into the BIOS and changed the boot options, and have done everything I can think of, I’m really not sure what to do anymore, any help will be appreciated.

The drive is not even half a year old, we got the PC back in early 2018, I’m honestly not sure, I believe I’m booting from my SSD and it still gives me the option on the drop down in the BIOS for the booting sequence to make that the first thing it boots from. So that’s why I’m super confused.

A lot of people probably aren't answering because of how broad that error is, and I didn't answer because I have a job. You should probably start with the most obvious solutions.

1. Make sure all cables to the hard drive are secure.
2. Check under the standard CMOS features and make sure the hard drive is actually listed. If not you may need to reset your CMOS.
3. Try activating/deactivating the Legacy mode in the BIOS.
4. Try booting from another drive/ test the current SSD on another system.
5. Reseat your RAM in different combinations.
