I just finished building my pc, and I dowloaded the windows 10 driver onto a usb and started the os download process. But the computer won't recognize my m.2 ssd to download the os on. Has anybody had a similar experience and can help me through this? I have an Aorus Ultimate Gaming 2.0 Motherboard, if that helps. Thank you in advance

Which m.2 port do you have that 860 drive in?
It will only work in one of them.

It is the top m.2 slot on the mobo, it had a cover already over it. I put the m.2 in and put the cover back over it.

----------------
1 x M.2 connector (Socket 3, M key, type 2242/2260/2280/22110 PCIe x4/x2 SSD support) (M2Q_32G)
1 x M.2 connector (Socket 3, M key, type 2242/2260/2280 SATA and PCIe x4/x2 SSD support) (M2A_32G)
----------------

Look in your user manual to see which is which.

Quick Update: on the ultra gaming 2.0 mobo the top slot which i thought was an m.2 is an intel optane memory i believe its called. I had to move it down behind the gpu. I've been busy finishing up my pc thanks USAFRet!!
