Cooling for i7? Recommendation?

So I will build a new PC soon and it will cost about 4,000 Bucks in total. So in this Pc build I was planning on buying an i7 7700K. But there was a problem that I came across when thinking about cooling the i7 Processor.

So I know that GPU's are normally hotter than CPU by a lot more. So instead I found a water block for my GPU and I have decided to use my 6 fan radiator for my GPU instead of my CPU. So I said to myself, "Then how will I cool my CPU if I need to cool my GPU more" So I decided to find a 1 fan radiator that would water cool my CPU and I was wondering if just one fan was enough for the i7 7700K CPU or would I need more fans to cool that down.

No I am not planning on over clocking I am just planning on playing epic setting on fortnite and maybe some call of duty once in a while. So would you recommend just one fan radiator for the CPU i7 7700K or more?

Edit: Here is the link to my PCPART PICKER so you guys could view my setup. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/FlashPhantom/saved/qshM8d

Also what will I need to prevent leaks, because I have been looking at photos at it shows like this little ring around the tubes so it does not leak. Can you please tell me what that is and everything that I'm missing in my PCPARTPICKER list for water cooling.

You don't even need to watercool if you're not going to overclock. Air will more than suffice.
Plus, $4000 for a 7700k build? Is this COMPLETELY from scratch - besides the parts going into the case, monitor(s), OS, keyboard, mouse, and speakers/headphones? That's quite steep if it isn't.
Are you getting a deal on that 7700k? Is there no option for something newer? 8600k and 8700k, or Ryzen 2600 and 2700?

$4000 in total and an i7-7700K full buld!....As Phaaze88 states for that you can get the best overall gaming CPU on the market including everything thrown in and a 1080ti to boot...and that includes everything, case, ssd, gpu 1080ti, power supply, AIO or Air Cooler, RAM etc, etc...If i am in error and there is something different going on, forgive me.

But to answer your question any good air cooler like Noctua will be more than good enough. Also any AIO from 120 to 240 will also be more than good enough.

Ohh, ok. Sorry I do not buy off of ebay. and yes it is completely from scratch. I am buying everything separately as I did not find what I wanted so I decided to customize everything. Also I changed the 7700K to 8700K :). Oh yeah the keyboard the software and everything like that is already included with the price. So I actually just calculated the price before the other things included and just for the PC is 3,145$ in total. So should I just use a really good air cooler like a stock cooler?

A few good options.
Cryorig H7, or R1 Ultimate
Noctua NH-D15S, or U9S(the color scheme isn't very popular though...)
Deepcool Gammaxx 400
Since you're not overclocking, the H7, NH-U9S, or the Gammaxx 400 would be enough. No need to get a beefy, pricey cooler otherwise.

Thanks you're the best, one more thing though. Which graphics card should I buy. Because I had in mind GTX 1070 8GB.

That motherboard isn't compatible with an 8700k. You must have a Z370 chipset.

2x16GB RAM is better than 4x8GB - less stress on the memory controller and less chance of having a problem with hitting higher speeds. You're not going to see significant gains from that speed RAM - there is a nice boost from the low 2000s to about 3200 but tails off significantly after that.

A system this nice deserves a Gsync monitor for sure. I'd be really annoyed to spend this much and have to put up with screen tearing.

Why would you shell out all that money for a custom rad for a mainstream GPU? It works fine with the fans that come on it. The OC you might get with liquid is minor. All that cash from the rad is better spent on a 1080ti which will be much faster.

It's because the current GPU I have over heats a ton and makes my game crash a lot on fortnite and I am literally playing on all low settings.

Also, I really want to do water cooling because it looks really cool and I've never really had that before.

Yeah it is about looks mostly, money is not really the problem to me. It's just I'm new to this computer thing even though I already built my own computer which was a budget build for like 500$ but that was just to test out how I would go with building PC's because I didn't want to pay for something like 2k then find out it would not work so I went for a low price to test it out and now I'm going for a high price because I know how to do it. :) Also, for water cooling what is all of the stuff that I need? Like I know the radiator and stuff like that but I saw like these rings that connect one tube to the other what is that? May you tell me what is needed for all the tubing and stuff. You would be the best, thanks. :D

Everything JED said. There's literally no reason to make a $4000 gaming build with a $450 GPU (that you're choosing to pay over $600 for). The motherboard is incompatible, the RAM is absolutely ludicrous, and at this price range to not have an m.2 SSD? You also seem to be just throwing whatever fans you can find that are expensive in with randomly selected watercooling parts.

There's just so much to unpack here. I would strongly urge you to take a step back, read up on what a balanced build would do, and make a balanced build with a case high-end enough for you to upgrade to custom water cooling once you understand a little more about this process. Custom water cooling is about planning, something this whole build appears to suffers from a lack of.

I'd buy something like JED's build, which will be a significantly better performer than yours, and *then* upgrade from an air cooler to a custom liquid when you're more experienced.

That build link confuses me.

The ram is too expensive, you have very little storage, your case already comes with 4 fans but you're buying 8 more? Those definitely won't fit. You can get a 1070 TI for significantly cheaper: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814137255&cm_re=1070_ti-_-14-137-255-_-Product&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-VigLink-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=6163686&SID=jhkypx0jop011rh100053 And you absolutely don't need watercooling for that card anyway, the MSI Gaming/Lightning series have exceptional overbuilt air coolers

Your motherboard likely already has the sata cables, and do you know if that waterblock will even fit the GPU? I'm not a watercooling expert but I'm pretty sure you don't need all that stuff. And you're going to watercool a GPU but not CPU?

Also: Single monitor for a build this expensive? That seems crazy.

I would strongly recommend you hold off and work on this a bit more.

I know, I'm not going to buy it right now I am waiting until I get all my answers and all my parts right. And by the way, I am doing this for mostly looks if you read up at all -_-. And okay 2 monitors, fine. Also, I forgot to take the sata cables off I have extras. Also the water block for the GPU is for style. All the water cooling is literally all for the looks of the computer. Thanks for the link btw. I just don't know if I should water cool the CPU as I will need to make an independent loop for it. Btw the prices don't bother me okay, I don't care if the RAM is too expensive...

Yeah I believe i'm just going to do two separate loops.
