This is going to be my first time building a PC so any faults pointed out or supported comments are greatly appreciated :).

Hello everybody! I am looking to build a gaming PC that can play current games at High or Ultra settings with steady framerate and little to zero bottleneck. Im not interested at the moment to play in 4k, but would like 144hz at 1080p. I am also looking to overclocking my GPU & CPU.

A question I had is whether or not 650W of power was too much for this build or too little? I am still somewhat clueless on what components needed for a powerful gaming rig that I've shown below. Hopefully you guys can help!

What I came up with:

The absolute highest I am willing to go to for my budget is 1050$.

Agree with Parani about the CPU, Intel does better at 1080/144Hz than AMD, in some games by a significant margin.
Given the fairly small price difference between the 1070 and 1070Ti, I'd suggest you aim at the faster card-budget permitting of course.
Your PcPartpicker listing does not cost out the GPU, you have no SSD included and the TT fans are very expensive.
Here's a fully costed build with a '1070Ti, SSD, i5 8600K, air cooler and less expensive fans. As always, this is a suggestion, open to changes and tweaks:

Lightning fast response! Thanks for pointing out my errors and being so kind as to recommend new componets for my build! I will look into your suggestions as well! Thank you :)
