Ok so I have a 2AB5 pentagron corporation motherboard, its oem.... i think it is a legacy board so this means my 1050ti will not work with the i7-2600 in it.... i have tried swapping out the origanal gtx660 but it is stuck at the "push esc too.." Do I need another motherboard to..... also if so is it worth getting a new mobo?

Why would you need to replace the mobo? It has a PCI Express x16 slot. Just take out the old GPU and slot in the new GPU. I think you are mistaken that PCI 3.0 cards need a PCI 3.0 slot to work. Its not like that. PCI Express is backwards compatible. You will be fine with that motherboard.
