I have to agree with DRagor, check the CPU cooler first to make sure it is securley attached and the MX-2 is applied properly. I always use a pea sized amount in the center of the CPU which seems to have always worked for me. The Intel stock cooler is not the best and I tend not to like the push pin connectors as they can sometimes not attach properly. A Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO is fairly cheap and would make a huge difference to cooling and longevity of the CPU...just a thought thoug any cost effective aftermarket cooler would also do over stock.
