Hello everyone!

I have a question and i hope someone here with knowledge about RAM can advise me.
I would like to upgrade my RAM from 8GB to 16GB but i have no clue what to get, things like CAS Latency and Timings are like a foreign language to me. So i am scared of buying any stick of RAM in fearing of ruining my computer.

Can anyone recommend me a good pair of 2x8 RAM sticks for my computer.
Also is it just replace the RAM sticks and good to go or do i always need to do some tinkering in the BIOS?

i5 4690
ASUS H97 Plus
GTX 1060 6GB
8GB Kingston ValueRAM 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600

Please forgive any typo's or grammatical mistakes english is not my first language.

You want to buy a matched set of TWO 8GB DIMMs. Don't just buy another 8GB DIMM. It might not cooperate with your existing RAM. Spend the extra money and buy a matched set of two DIMMs. If you get DDR3 1600 RAM you will be pretty safe. The intricacies of RAM timing are only important if you want to manually set timings. You can get a few FPS differences by getting lower clock RAM, but it is usually not worth the hassle.
