Third drive "D" which I don´t know what it is.

I just got a SSD and cloned my old HDD on it, then formated the HDD, selected the new ssd as boot drive in BIOS. When I logged in in "my PC" there are 3 drives, the new SSD as "C" with windows on it, old HDD as "E" now empty and third one, drive "D" named "system" which occupies 514MB of the HDD. It has 1 file in it named "snapshots" and and in it 3 things: "control", "layout" and "snapshot" all with some numbers behind those names. What is it? How is it important and how do I get rid of it?
This is my first time doing this stuff so help me, please.
Thank you.

1. Screencap of your Disk Management window, please.

2. Does the system actually boot from the new drive on its own? Physically disconnect all other drives and test this...
I think you did the cloning process a little bit wrong.
