Hello I have searched and have asked for help on reddit and other sites with no avail. I have 16gb of ‘patriot viper 4 3200mhz’ ram, im running a 2700x with a crosshair vii motherboard. Full build to be precise - https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/fhNyWD
The ram is showing at 2133mhz, i’ve tried the asus preset ram oc setting in bios, as well as the xmp setting in bios also, rest set to auto. My pc keeps shutting off straight away and takes a few times to boot back up properly. When it does boot it says memory failure and sends me back to bios. Can anyone suggest how to fix this or should I just buy new ram? Or is the jump from 2133 to 3200+ just not worth it for gaming and streaming? Many thanks everyone
