Hello All,
I have my rig and i use it basically for studying and lab purpose. Configuration is as follows
> Intel Core i-7 6700 3.4 GHz
> 16X4 Corsair Vengeance 2400 MHz
> Gigabyte MOBO GA-H170M-D3H DDR4
one fine day i checked the CPU-Z application and realized that my RAM shows just showed 1066.7 MHz under DRAM frequency section. (screen shot attached) this raised my concern as I would like to have full benefit of hat I paid for. So I ran an online test on site http://www.userbenchmark.com it gave me all the results and under RAM section there was a warning it said “Performing below potential (34th percentile) - ensure that a dual+ channel XMP BIOS profile is enabled”. Now this kinda banged my head and I started finding the XMP settings on my mother board. But couldn’t locate any. I have BIOS screen shots attached. It gives me a lot of options to customize my RAM but nowhere has an option called XMP. All screen shots attached
any help would be greatly appreciated.
