Your estimated system peak power consumption with GPU/CPU loaded at 100% is around 450 watt, thus the recommended PSU wattage of 500 watt. Seasonic Focus Gold 550 watt with it's power rating and efficiency and it's excellent reviews will be sufficient for powering your system without any issues.

I agree with you electro, the trade off for compactness and speed comes with the price of higher temps on the M.2 SSD (PCIe in my experience) itself and it's immediate surroundings with thermo-throttling as a result when temps reach certain threshold, not to mention the proximity M.2 SSDs from CPU socket or PCH or GPU especially in compact motherboards which demands improving M.2 cooling with dedicated heatsink and motherboard overall ventilation for quicker heat dissipation.

I know off topic, but my ASrock, Z97 Extreme 6/3.1 - is a big mobo, but i wish the M2's were standing up and not across the board. I installed a heatsink but my Samsung Pro sits between 48'C and 54'C (using HDD Sentinel to log).

The latest samsung NVMe SSD has better heat dissipation, I have 2 installed with cheap aluminum heatsinks on Asus Strix Z270E: a windows 10 pro 960 evo PCIe 3.0x4 at 35 idle and 45 peak temp, while the windows 7 WD black 1st generation idles at 45 and peaks at 55 when loading system of it. This with video card installed vertically away from the mobo with open case (TT core P3) and no mobo supportive ventilation (except for the CPU 360mm TT radiator/fans).
Tested also 2x Samsung PM961 (OEM 960 evo) and they run cool as well, don't know about the new WD black 2nd generation or the Samsung 970 which one appears to have better heat dissipation.
