I7 8700 (non "k" version)
B360 AORUS GAMING 3
GTX 1060 G1 gaming gigabyte
Corsair value select 2x 4gb ram ( 8gb) 2400mhz
1TB Western Digital HDD
240gb SSD
Asus predator gaming monitor
Corsair CX650 PSU

Do i need to buy an air cpu cooler for the i7 8700 processor or will the stock cooler is enough ?
I'm planning to play only games in this, "A GAMING RIG". Will upgrade gpu after 3-4 years since i can tweak 1060 slightly and play for next 3-4 years.
And i play all kind of games including Fortnite.

Never mentioned the 1070, however it is a good card but prices are high for 1070,1070ti,1080,1080tis. Even 1060s are kinda high right now.

I was just looking to save you some money on the CPU, as people tend to forget that the CPU for gaming is secondary to the GPU in most cases. The 8400 is an excellent CPU for the price, and unless you want to stream then the 8700 may have its potential never really reached. You could also look at the new Ryzen 2nd gen CPUs, they offer better price to performance then Intel usually, although for a strictly gaming machine the 8400 is very good.
You could drop down to a i5 8400 as if gaming is your only need it would be more then enough CPU for 1080/1440 gaming. If you plan to stream then the 8700 would be worth the investment.

And yes I would suggest replacing the Intel stock cooler, they are pretty bad, something like the Coolermaster 212 or Cryorig H7 would be better.

Maybe try and get faster RAM, your mobo supports 2666 and its usually the same price as 2400. Also maybe try for 16GB, 8GB is minimum these days.
