Connection and Internet Issues

Hello, Built my first Gaming PC and I've hit a snag with my computer's ethernet.

It has a tendency to go through a cycle of Disconnecting->Limited Access->Connected too frequently, it's the only device that is doing this with no visible issues on my Modem's behalf. It's been doing this since it had it's first boot.

It's been up and running with a new installation of windows for two weeks now.

The Motherboard has built-in Wi-fi, the ethernet cord I've been using hasn't caused many issues when plugged into my PS4.

The Motherboard is an ASUS ROG Strix Z7370-I "Gaming" Mini-ITX motherboard

What I've tried
-Restarting my computer.
-Disabling the built in Wi-fi connection in my Device Manager but it still cycles.
-Disabling the ethernet connection and seeing if Wi-fi will suffice, but it won't work
-Checking for updates on any network drivers, all up to date
-Trying to rollback updates, no previous updates
-Disabling the Wi-fi router within the BIOS, I thought there was a conflict between the two causing issues, nope.

What hasn't been done
-Trying a New Ethernet cable
-Restoring Windows

What hasn't given me issues
As of right now, I disabled the LAN controller in my BIOS and using the Wi-fi instead with no issues as of right now. That could change but if not, it looks like either the cord or the ethernet port itself could have issues.

Questions
-Could an ethernet cord suddenly break itself?
-If it's the ethernet port causing complications, what are my options?
-If it's an issue with something going between the modem and the computer, could a Router smooth things out?

Some help on this would be greatly appreciated.
