so atm i have an i5 4460 combined with a gtx 1060 and i am thinking of finally upgrading the CPU later this year, however doing that means that i also have to upgrade my mobo and buy new RAM
So i wanna ask if upgrading to some better CPU that my mobo can handle is worth it or should i just do a full upgrade. I was thinking of getting an i5 7600k or something better if the prices change by then and would like your opinion on whether i should even upgrade. The main reason for the upgrade is the announcement of TES 6 and the start of a new generation of games probably but also fallout 76 as i think that my CPU is going to have trouble since both of those will be huge open world games
This is what i currently have:
CPU: i5 4460 3.2ghz(stock cooler)
GPU: gtx 1060 gygabite xtreme gaming 6gb
cooler master 500w PSU (don't know the exact model)
gygabite B85-HD3 motherboard
2x hyper x fury 8GB ddr3 RAM 1600Mhz
1TB HDD
2x samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD
aerocool strike x one case
