Im upgrading my CPU ONLY to the i3 8100 or i5 8400 (i have the right motherboard dont worry). I have a GTX 1050ti, and I am on a budget. I feel like the i5 8400 will be bottlenecked a bit by the 1050ti. The most demanding games I play are PUBG and GTA V. help! (I know I should have gotten a GTX 1060 but I already had the 1050ti)

I think you'll be better off in the long run with the 8400 due to the extra cores and higher boost clock.
