Condenser mic sounds terrible on computers, but not on speakers

(Please bear with me, I'm not very bright when it comes to tech ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
I bought a NW-800 which is a pretty cheap microphone and not the highest quality, but I'm certain it's not the reason why it sounds like garbage on my computer.
When I connected it to my audio jack on my laptop, I recorded my voice and it had so much static that it drowned out my voice. It was overly sensitive and it was destroying my ears. Later I connected it to a Vizio Soundbar, and the audio was much more clear on the speakers without much static at all. I could hardly notice any.
I figured it was a problem with my laptop, so I connected it to my PC. I don't have a sound card in the PC or my laptop.
After plugging it into the PC and having the same problem, I decided to buy an external sound card on Amazon. After plugging the mic into the USB sound card and plugging it into the computer, I found that the noise was significantly reduced, but it still wasn't nearly as clear as it was on the Vizio Soundbar and isn't fit for any recording.
I can't install a new internal sound card because my PCIe slot is being used by my GTX 760. Also, I'm pretty sure this isn't a driver issue since the external sound card doesn't use a driver and my PC's audio jack driver is updated (Realtek).
Can anyone provide any tips or a solution for making this thing sound less garbage?

If you read my question, you'd understand that it isn't the microphone.
