I´m building a new computer with a Ryzen 7 2700. I got an MSI x370 SLI plus from Amazon mexico and, since we are in mid 2018 I was expecting to get a mobo with the updated bios, unfortunately I got one from mid-2017 instead.
Now I´m trying to decide if I should get a cheap A6 cpu and return it after the update is completed or if I should return this mobo and get an MSI x470 gaming plus instead, for a similar cost. The problem with the x470 mobo is that i would need to import it from Amazon U.S. to mexico and I´m worried about warranty and return polices if something goes wrong with the board.
Just so you now, I´ve tried to update the BIOS with tech sellers here in Mexico but so far I´ve had no luck doing so.
I hope you guys can give me some advice on this.
