PC still smells burnt after replacing burnt GPU

As the title reads, my GPU (GTX 780) decided to burn on me the other day. When I have the card in, it won't start, and replacing with a new card makes it work.

Now I bought a new graphics card (GTX 1050 TI), and the computer starts and runs as it should.

However, my room (PC) still smells like burnt plastic, what could it be?

The PSU smells fine when it is running too.
I have opened the case and can feel a weak smell, but it's very hard to determine if it's from a fan, cpu or something else. No cables are touching the motherboard..

Do I need to worry about this?

Temperatures says everything is fine in gpu and cpu.

PSU smells fine when running the system.

Solution
That smell does tend to linger. Could it be coming from the PSU? The 780 is a fairly power hungry and the 1050Ti needs very little, just wonder it the psu got damaged or even if a failure in the psu killed the gpu.

As I just edited in, the PSU smells fine when the system is running. The bad smell is not at all around the PSU, it's coming from the fan blowing out the air.

How would I know of the PSU killed it/is malfunctioning?

Is there any program that can test a PSU and/or show statistics?

BIOS are telling me the 3/5/12 V are roughly right (3.3, 5.1, 12.3) so I assume my PSU is working correctly? Nothing is indicating it's overheated when it's running either.

As was said earlier the 1050 is more efficient than your 780. The PSU may be fine with the lower load but if ever a larger load is applied you could run into an issue where the 12V rail becomes unstable and something gets fried. You should probably get a PSU load tester or see if your local computer shop can load test it for you. If you can't do either, I would suggest getting a new PSU for peace of mind.

Alright, I'll see if I can do that. Seeing how the card was bought in store I have the 3 year warranty in case smth happens anyways. But if it fries smth else I'll be sad, so I better check it out. Thanks
