X99 Deluxe II - CPU-Z Shows Single Channel Memory

Hi team,

Recently I have bought a set of X99 Deluxe II, 5820k and 2x8GB DDR4 Corsair Vengeance 2400MHz.

Everything is up and running fine, but what CPU-Z shows under Memory tab is bothering me: Channel #Single

I have populated the slots managed in the manual (B1, D1) but either the CPU-Z shows Single not Dual channel.
Is there any other way to tell if my memory is really running in Single (non Dual) channel, except CPU-Z?

My BIOS detects all 16GB of RAM, but it doesn't say a thing about the regime - single or dual...

Thank you in advance!

Currently, they are placed not on the ones closest to the CPU, because that's how the manuals says: they are like this:

[][][|][] [CPU] [][|][][]

Is your idea to place it like this:

[][][][|] [CPU] [|][][][]

*Edit*
Closest sockets to the CPU are black, not gray.
Currently the memory is in the closest Gray sockets...

Do you know any other software (except CPU-Z) to check the memory operating mode?
I am somehow suspecting the CPU-Z not showing the correct information...

Well, both sticks work and BIOS, OS, CPU-z and everything else could read and use them.
On other side, the system is oveclocked to 4.6GHz @ 1.29V and it is rock solid stable - hours of Prime and IBT.

However, today when I was playing around with the CPU-z I noticed this weird thing in the Memory and also SPD tab.
Memory tab says Channel #Single, SPD says Ranks: Single.

There are no bent pins - checked.

Moreover, according to the Deluxe mobo manual, the black slots will be only working when all the gray slots are filled. This thing totally exclude the idea to populate the most closest slots to the CPU, which are black - they will not work...

Edit: ...and yes, I tried to reseat the memory sticks many times before post here - no luck.

Yes. Everything shows the exact amount of RAM - CPUz, BIOS, OS, RivaTuner, RealBench - everything...
What is bothering me that the CPUz says it's Single Channel...

I guess OS re-installation is coming on the line...

Well, before reinstalling the OS directly, I decide to give it a try with reinstalling the CPU-Z first...

Currently, the situation became even more unexpected. Now my Channel # box in Memory tab is gray...This behavior makes me think that really the CPU-Z is the problem so I decide to try HWiNFO and according to it everything works like a charm in Dual Channel.

I guess I will leave it like this, not gonna touch it.
Probably newer version of CPU-Z will do the job correct...
