I am recently facing an issue which causes my display to go blank. The issue occurs when I play games or watch a video for a long time. With games, it takes a mere 3-minutes for the display to go blank. Sometimes I get a notification which says "Display driver failed to start; Using Microsoft Basic Display driver".
I have tried uninstalling the NVIDIA driver, and re-installing previous versions acquired from NVIDIA website, used the Refresh PC option and even contacted Microsoft support. I searched in many forums and have tried everything. Please let me know how I can fix this. TIA.
