I have a HP ProDesk 600 G1. Here’s a brief manual on the hardware:

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03812619

I just bought this power supply:

https://m.newegg.com/products/9SIA6ZP3RB4797

The mootherboard has 2 6-pin power connectors but the power supply has a 20+4. The description said the psu is for a microATX and this motherboard is a microATX, but the don’t seem compatible. Do I need some sort of adapters or should I just look for a new psu all together.

Solution
Im pretty sure you cant upgrade the Power Supply in that machine. First problem is that it doesn't use standard connectors. And the second problem is, its not ATX or SFX Form Factor. In the manual, the PSU shown is of weird dimensions.
You don't only need to look at if the PSU is microATX or not, you should have taken a look at the dimensions and the connectors of your PSU and of the PSU you were about to buy to avoid this mistake. Best thing you can do now is return it.

It does look like a TFX Form Factor, so this might work: http://www2.seasonic.com/product/tfx-350/, but still, it does not have the cables required.
