I need to find a microATX motherboard with Gen 7/Kaby Lake socket, ddr3 ram support, and a pcie 3.0 x16 slot. Any help would be appreciated!
What I'm trying to run:
CPU:pentium g4560
GPU: Gigabyte Radeon RX550 2gb
RAM: 16gb (2 x 8gb) ddr3
Motherboard: ???

Best route seems to be going with Z170 or B150 micro ATX motherboard with an already updated bios (to support intel 7th generation CPUs Kabylake) or that you could yourself update the bios (using an Intel 6th generation CPU)and that support DDR3L (low voltage 1.35v memory) as Intel has warned customers that the higher voltage used in DDR3 can damage Skylake and Kaby Lake CPU’s.
BIOSTAR H110MHV3 >> https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIAD7H5EX1988.

Double check your memory specifications if it's 1.5 Volts rated regular DDR3 I would contemplate replacing it with DDR4 freeing yourself all together from the constraint of Z170 chipset and going straight for the Z270 chipset with no motherboard Bios update to be feared.

B150 micro ATX motherboard with an already updated bios (to support intel 7th generation CPUs Kabylake)

I was originally looking at the b150m board. The problem is that I don't have any Gen 6 processors to be able to update the BIOS for Gen 7 on the b150m. I don't know anyone else with a Gen 6 either. If you could tell me where I could find an already updated board, that'd be amazing. It's fine if you can't, it is probably rare to find. And when it comes to the ram, I know about the issue with ddr3 + Kaby Lake but I really don't want to have to spend more on ddr3l because I have 2x8gb sticks of ddr3.
So...
Is it really that harmful to Kaby Lake CPU in the long run?
If it is that harmful, should I just go ddr4 or ddr3l?

What brand and full model name of your memory, if it's voltage is 1.35 = means it's a DDR3L (low voltage), 1.5 V DDR3 would work but with the risk of shortening CPU life expectancy (not to mention the 1.65v DDR3 definitely not advised)
Just switching memory to DDR4 will free you from all restrictions and would give you more choices and features in the readily available Z270 motherboards, no Bios update needed, no issues with memory.(DDR3 still sells well on ebay so the memory switch to DDR4 would not be costly)

Are there any Z270 (or just 7th gen) chipset motherboards which support DDR3 RAM? >> http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-3352385/z270-7th-gen-chipset-motherboards-support-ddr3-ram.html

I think I'll just switch to ddr4. Do you have any alternative to the z270 micro you mentioned that still has Gen 7 and a pcie 3.0 x16 slot. I'm not looking for anything flashy.

But once again, the boards are all LGA 1151 which is skylake/6th Gen. Right? I need 7th gen, with ddr4. Btw I apologise for being so picky, I just have various limitations I don't want to cross for many reasons
