just like the user above sated. It's entirely up to you as to what performance you want in the long run and how much you are willing to spend. I would say the best middle ground option for higher level graphic settings in the long run and guaranteed performance fps wise at those settings would be a 1070. assuming you are playing at 1080p 60fps. I personally have a 1070 and plan on keeping it in the long run so that future games that come out will play smoothly at 60fps with high/max graphics. especially since a lot of games coming out now with bangarang graphics are being better optimized and built from the ground up to properly support DX12 and Vulcan and they end up requiring less horsepower to run more beautiful graphics. Hopefully this trend will stay for a while. But in the end it's entirely up to you. are you satisfied with the performance of your 1050ti when it comes to the graphic settings you have to use to maintain a desired framerate along with your resolution? if so, then no need to upgrade right now. but if you want more, then get beefier. as for how much beefier will depend yet again on your desired results. keep in mind though, that unless you are overclocking that CPU to it's fullest, if you go to high on the GPU side of things, and push the graphics to the max, it will bottleneck the maximum performance of the GPU, and if the maximum performance of the GPU is exactly where you desire to be because it hits the mark on what you have the ability to take advantage of then yeah, you'll need to overclock. but long rant short, if you are satisfied at current with what you have then don't bother wasting money on a pointless upgrade, otherwise, I would recommend the 1070 for getting leaps better performance but not going as high as a 1080 or 1080ti and breaking the bank.
