I applied my settings and thenmy speeds went down (core clock 215 mhz) But when I open up MSI Kombustor it goes back up to what I had set the overclock to (1420 mhz)
Check GPU-Z as well to see if the OC applied. Some cards will throttle clock speeds if it is not being used, my RX580 goes down to 300Mhz when not being used. What does the Mhz look like when playing games?
So what's the problem? Graphics cards throttle when not in use. They only run at full speed when the load on the graphics card requires it to, unless it's a very old graphics card that doesn't support power saving and temperature lowering features.
