I've got 8gb of DDR4 2666MHz of Corsair Vengeance and 1Tb WD Blue 7200 RPM HDD. My RAM usage is extremely high all the time (Right now, with edge, Steam, and Netflix running, 53% of my RAM is being used up. This forum is the only tab open.) A lot of the time my Disk is idling high as well. When I'm playing most videogames, either the RAM or the disk is at 100% nearly all the time. I don't think it's a virus because Malwarebytes isn't finding anything (nor does Windows Defender). Any idea on what the problem might be? It never used to be this bad. I'm trying to avoid doing a clean install because I have limited internet data.

Edge seems to be using it quite a lot. A lot of the time Edge will be using both Memory and my Disk at extremely high levels, to the point where I don't think it's normal. Right now I have five tabs open. This forum, two other forums, Pandora, and Reddit. With just that, it's using 4,200 MB of memory. 88% of my memory being used while my PC is essentially idle. My disk isn't actually being used right now, but usually it would be just as high.
