No display after updating BIOS - TUF B350M-PLUS GAMING

Hi,

I recently updated the BIOS to the latest. (TUF B350M-PLUS GAMING BIOS 4011
Update AGESA 1.0.0.2a + SMU 43.18). I used the built in EZ mode feature to update it. It completed with no errors and restarted the system automatically.

Ever since it restarted there has been no display and the keyboard and mouse no longer light up.

The monitor was plugged into a 1080. I thought plugging the monitor into the intergrated HDMI port would fix it. Nope.

Currently its barebones only. PSU, CPU, RAM, Keyboard + Mouse, Monitor plugged into intergrated HDMI port on motherboard.

Since I've stripped it down to the essentials and its not working I'm out of ideas. There are no hardware faults I'm sure of it. The BIOS update has broken something since it worked perfectly fine before that and its a fairly new system.

Summary of things I tried:

  • Switching from 1080 GPU to intergrated GPU - same result.
Unplugged power, removed RAM, held power button for 60 seconds.
    Stripped down to barebones.
    Cleared CMOS.
Tried to recover BIOS using the guidelines in the ASUS manual but since I do not get any display its impossible to do.
Used DVI connector instead of HDMI.

Please help me find a solution to this. Any kind suggestions would be most welcome.

Yes of course.

Thanks for the link. The board is still under warranty so I'm going to RMA it.

After looking about the typical solution to this problem is using 1 stick of RAM in various slots and resetting the CMOS. Sadly that did not work.

I believe the EZ mode updater has some how corrupted the flash memory and bricked the device.
