Hello Q/A. Recently I bought a new RYZEN build.. Gigabyte AORUS X-470 ultra gaming,, Ryzen 3 2200g cpu/gpu,,Geil DDR4 pc 4-24000 cl16-18-18-36 Ryzen branded ram 2x8gb 16 total.. Excelvan 750 w psu,, 850 evo 250gb ssd.. everything went fine, I still win 10 64bit and all gigabyte drivers and tools,, + all updates, running fine starting to install software I use nothing that would inpare system.. this was an out of case pre setup for custom case,, everything was working well, had Norton installed.. I used for about just short of 2 weeks all siv showed good. I shut it down to go to store, for back to find it would not start !! Both cpu/dram mobo LEDs flashing back and forth, reset cmos , took ram out switched slots both paired and single on board, pulled out CPU looked fine all pins straight, cleaned reinstalled with arctic silver 5 still won't start... I've been building and repairing PC's and laptops for around 20 years.. This is the first build that for some unknown reason went bad !!! Could use some advice on this....

That really sounds like the board went bad. It happened to me a few years ago when I was building a computer. It worked great for the first month and then no boot, flashing lights. I drove myself insane switching out components and using known good one's and nothing. Not until the board was replaced that the issue was finally resolved. It could also be a Ryzen issue? Not too sure on that one though since I have not had the pleasure of working with a Ryzen CPU. Most likely my next build. But I have heard some peeps having issues with Ryzen builds, although it varies.

Well I would not be suprised if that psu fried your system.
It's low quality garbage with specs that are just no right. It failing would be no suprise.

Ok I'll try another psu , I'll have to order new one, I'll post it it works !!....I need a high power supply 12v for RGB lighting in my RV. The normal power is dirty, won't work with any digital lights...

You build is more than fine with a GOOD QUALITY 300w psu. However those are rare and often are only a little less than good 450w psu's. Whats the budget for the psu?
