will getting rid of programs that came pre-installed with my PC mess it up?

so i have an asus m32cd, and it came installed with programs called Asus Giftbox and Asus Live updater. i was wondering if i unninstall these two programs, will they mess up the PC and/or cause it to go haywire? i would really like to get rid of these programs because i do not use them and they are annoying when i first turn on my PC.

No, you'll be fine. Just avoid uninstalling programs which include drivers. Such as Realtek, AMD, Intel and nVidia. Also don't uninstall anything Microsoft Corporation that looks like an OS update like Visual C++ or ASP.NET.

If you use CCleaner you can also remove MS App Store junk like XBOX, Mixed Reality Portal, WiFi Calling, &c. I'd also open MS store and disable automatic App updates so it doesn't keep downloading junk.
