Hi, I recently upgraded my gpu from an rx580 oc to a gtx1080 ti, but for some reason I am getting similar performance to the rx580 oc and I feel as it should be vastly improved performance, my cpu is a r5 1600x, is there something I can do to fix this problem, I have uninstalled all amd software and made sure the gpu wasn't overheating, I have msi afterburner. Im not sure if this is an issue with the gpu or there is something I need to do. Thanks!

Solution
Download a program called DDU. Unzip the package and run it in safe mode. Unistall your drivers and once you reboot install the latest nvidia drivers.

I haven't played WoW since vanilla-are you sure the game itself is not capped at 60fps for game mechanics purposes?

But try a clean install and go from there

Restart your computer and go into bios there should be option to reset to default!

I just make sure now that you have all the drivers for your 1080ti installed but just hope other people on forums can help you with the 1080ti more because it is an good GPU and Should perform more better!

overwatch everything on low settings getting around 100-120 fps, WoW Ultra settings like 60 fps just standing in a zone not raiding, both my gpu and cpu useage is very low around 15% for both when playing games WoW is like 1% for cpu, I have not done a clean install for my drivers, no fps caps either made sure of that, so I uninstall my drivers and reinstall in safe mode?

Turn fps and vsync off.
Then take the titanic failure that is the 1080ti out and sidegrade to something else nvidias drivers in 1803 are horrible especially 398.11
I have a 1080 as well and performance problems are getting worse and worse I recommend u just wait it out or roll back to old drivers.
what ram u running?
