soo today i was playing far cry 5 i have gtx 1070 with i3 3210 ik its bad .. will change next month ..
soo i was playing far cry 5 and i was experiencing bottlenecks soo i decided to increase the resolution scale to 1.5 but it became more worse like i was getting 5 to 6 fps less. what could be the problem is my 1070 not able to handle 1.5 resolution scale ? or am i making it worse cause i have bad cpu ? im not familiar with resolution scale soo i dont really know if it affects cpu or not

I'd very likely be the CPU, if the game is too much for the i3 3120 to handle (which is very likely) considering the game's recommended minimum spec CPU is an i5-2400, something slightly more powerful (also Quad Core). Increasing the Resolution Scale won't stop the CPU being hit as hard as it already does, but it will increase the GPU load even more which is the reason you end up with even lower FPS. I'd recommend you upgrade your CPU as soon as possible if you want to improve performance in Farcry 5, it requires quite a beefy CPU. Even if you can find a cheap i7 3xxx that can work with your current Motherboard, but note you'll still be just below the game's recommended CPU (i7-4770), but i doubt a 3770/3770K would have much issue running it with a GTX 1070 at 60+ FPS. Hope this helps! :)

Depends on what resolution you run naively and the graphics settings but 1.5x resolution scale would be pretty harsh on the GPU load particularly if you're running High/Ultra settings and 1080p or above.
