Dell? or Asus?

So im moving to collage next month and i want to buy a laptop for it and there are so many of those are out there . First im picking up Computer Science Enngg. And collage professor asked me to bring a laptop of dell or hp with core i7 or i5 and 8-16gb of ram. So i searched my local online market and i found two decent looking laptop

So these are gaming laptop(ikr!) but these met those requirement of tge collage as well mine thats gaming and dont worry i can very well manage between studies and gaming
So i was confused and could not think of a better place to solve my query . Thank you in advance
