SSD and HDD files

Hey, so I recently bought a new Kingston A400 240GB SSD, and I decided to install it by myself. My PC got quite slow recently so I resetted it through the recovery - reset with the option to remove all files. I have a 1TB HDD already in. So, I was wondering, after I install SSD and clone Windows to it, do I set it in BIOS to boot from the SSD. What files do I put on SSD? I have a couple of games that I play actively (CSGO, PUBG) and I use Photoshop, 3DS Max and Sony Vegas daily. Do I install them on the SSD after booting Windows from it?

The reset thing you've done has nothing to do with the SSD.

You need to actually install the OS on the SSD. You refer to a clone, but since you have a bare OS right now, it might be more beneficial to just do a clean install on the SSD.

But, if you wish to clone it...just like this:
Specific steps for a successful clone operation:
-----------------------------
Verify the actual used space on the current drive is significantly below the size of the new SSD
Download and install Macrium Reflect (or Samsung Data Migration, if a Samsung SSD)
Power off
Disconnect ALL drives except the current C and the new SSD
Power up
Run the Macrium Reflect (or Samsung Data Migration)
Select ALL the partitions on the existing C drive
Click the 'Clone' button
Wait until it is done
When it finishes, power off
Disconnect ALL drives except for the new SSD
This is to allow the system to try to boot from ONLY the SSD
Swap the SATA cables around so that the new drive is connected to the same SATA port as the old drive
Power up, and verify the BIOS boot order
If good, continue the power up

It should boot from the new drive, just like the old drive.
Maybe reboot a time or two, just to make sure.

If it works, and it should, all is good.

Later, reconnect the old drive and wipe as necessary.
Delete the 450MB Recovery Partition, here:

-----------------------------

First you have to make sure that HDD you have windows now on, actually C: partition and partitions needed for BOOT are all together less than size of SSD to be able to transfer system to it. As you have 1TB hard drive you might as well install windows to SSD and few of most important programs/games on it, rest can go to HDD.

So, everything is functioning properly, installed the SSD and the HDD, thing is. Now, I have Windows installed on both drives. I did a clean install of Windows when installing the SSD, and I keep my games there. My question is now, can I remove Windows from the HDD and keep some files on it? And if yes, how. Thanks.

"keep some files"
That is an issue.

Ideally, you move those files to some other drive, and then fully wipe that 1TB Disk 1. Then move those files back.

There is no easy way to 'remove windows'.
Save your files elsewhere (not programs, just "files"). Delete all partitions on that drive and start with a blank slate.

Formatting just that one partition leaves all that other gunk on there.
It can work, but be confusing later.
