it should work, however you would want to use dual channel ddr4 instead of single stick and try find a memory kit that's in the 3000 mhz range.
you should be able to do so without going over budget too much ($5- $10 more).

once you are putting everything together, remember to update to the latest bios, and turn on "a-xmp" profile for those memories.

Thank you. I am just wondering how much duel channel would actually help me as it is £15 or so more expensive?
And what do you mean by turning on x-amp?
