Should I first time boot from the Motherboard Ports or the GPU Ports? (HDMI/VGA/DVI)

I also read that when you boot for the first time, you should boot without the GPU installed in the motherboard..
And that you should only install the GPU after you finish installing Windows / OS, is that correct?

If I have to boot from the Motherboard / GPU Ports, Should I use HDMI,VGA or DVI?

If I want to go to the BIOS, what key should I press for this particular Motherboard?

Thanks for the help! I am very new to this...

GPU | EVGA GTX 1050
CPU | I5 6400

You'll be fine using the video card to boot and install Windows. Use the video card ports, otherwise the video card won't be in use. The only reason you don't include the video card is if something goes wrong and you need to diagnose something.

If you're really worried, don't use it first time... but it doesn't really matter.

I would suggest holding off any overclocking until you have Windows installed and everything updated.

Any one you want, it really doesn't matter. HDMI is the best of those connections, well, display port is better for 2k+ resolutions (I'm assuming it's a display port and not a VGA connection, since I don't think most cards use VGA anymore); but for 1080p any one will do.
