m.2 compatibility with my motherboard?

i would like to get this m.2 drive https://www.scan.co.uk/products/500gb-samsung-860-evo-m2-2280-ssd-sata3-6gb-s-mjx-mlc-v-nand-512mb-cache-read-550mb-s-write-520mb-s?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI172gwsfp2wIV7bDtCh1B7wCPEAQYBCABEgLrJ_D_BwE seen here and my motherboard is AsRock AB350 Pro4 https://www.amazon.co.uk/Asrock-AB350-PRO4-motherboard-black/dp/B06WWF165R seen here would this be a working combination as this would be my first m.2 drive and i am unsure another question i would have is i have seen similar drives using heat spreaders or cooling solutions are these even necessary thanks

If you're using a AIO cooler, there will be (theoretically) less airflow directly over the mobo, so it and the components might need more sensible airflow planning via case fans. Airflow is everything, more so in small cases.

That drive and mobo should work, given the spec of the mobo.
