Hello all
so I want to overclock my cpu but I don't know what to do, I've tried one or 2 times but my pc crashed, so now I want some expert advice. My bios show me this
Cpu frequency settings 333
Pcie clock by auto
Cpu voltage default
fsb voltage default
memory voltage default

Dram frequency auto
Configure dram timing by spd enabled

Just save up bucks 775 budget sockets are not that great for OC unless you find good one, intel DX38 or DX48 is good since you can oc with setfsb and an QX Cpu.

i have already tried to put frequency to 400 and it booted to windows, but i've had a bsod and had to reinstall windows, dunno if it's caused by the overclock, or by a game that my pc does not meet the minimal requirements, so my question is, does bsod corrupt my windows so that i have to reintall windows, or not ?
for the option it's by default but i can change the value like this
dram ddr2 667 ddr2 800
cpu voltage 5% 10% 15%
fsb voltage 0.1v 0.2v 0.3v
memory voltage 1v 2v 3v
my cpu is core 2 duo 6550
