I built my PC on Monday 18th of June, yesterday Friday 22nd of June I experienced a random shutdown. I thought it was caused by a game but it seems to shutdown during POST and on the desktop, if I manage to get that far. I monitored my CPU temps, they seem to hover between 25°C and 35°C. My CPU, Intel 6600k, is cooled by the Antec H1200 Pro and has been doing a good job so far. Thought it was my PSU, tried another 1 and it also doesn't seems to that nor my PSU Chord. Need help figuring out what it could be.

Specs:
Mobo: MSI Z170A-M3
CPU: i5 6600K (Stock Speed)
PSU: Antec 600W
GPU: MSI GTX1060 3GB
RAM: 2x 8GB Corsair Vengence LPX 2400MHz
Cooler: Antec H1200 Pro

You've generically mentioned the make and model of your PSU, can you be a little more specific? Are you on the latest BIOS revision for your motherboard? Remove the GPU and connect off the onboard display ports on the motherboard and see if you can move past BIOS screen.

If you're unstable at BIOS level then the issue could be a bent/broken CPU pin on the socket or a faulty/failing PSU. Provided you've ruled out that your system isn't suffering from a grounding issue.

I’m unable to update my BIOS, due to the PC shutting down before I can install the update. My PSU is the Antec VP600P 80+ Silent PSU. I have already tried it without my gpu install and using the onboard graphics. And I can confirm I have no bent pins and it’s not a grounding issue. I have however noticed my Cooler doesn’t make a sound anymore (it was once noticeable). A friend of mine says it is the cooler, but my temps are low?
