1st my english is very bad sorry for the nonsense ahead...

Well i bought the Gigabyte AB350 Gaming 3 and didnt like the stock cooler included with my little 1200 ryzen cpu it almost touches the VRM and capacitors on the left side, that without tighten the screws all the way so i got the AM4 X bracket for the Hyper 212 Evo which i already own.

The official cooler master installation guide video for this bracket is very simple, the same with the instructions inside the bracket box, it only requires 4 standoffs and the bracket itself plus the stock motherboard backplate, no need for a special backplate and that was nice (plus no warning bout how much you should tight the screws)

Ok the problem is that when you finish screwing those standoffs with the backplate it doesn't stay firm, it floats hanging there, the backplate is not adjusted close enough to the motherboard so i thought that maybe the cooler and the X bracket will finish the job bringing the backplate closer to the motherboard and yep that happened, tightening the X bracket screws makes the backplate stay firm next to the motherboard but i wonder if i didn't put too much pressure, i don't like the idea of this "sandwich" breaking my am4 socket, cpu or motherboard.

I always stop at first sign of resistance while screwing i don't apply extra pressure nor force the screws, soon as i see that screw wont go further without force i stop right there, plus the screws on the X bracket cant go further the screw spiral is over in all the four screws so even if i try with much more force the screw won't advance,

it looks like everything was done ok but what if screwing that much wasn't necessary at all? maybe bringing half way the screws is enough or loosening em a little bit like 2-3 turns or idk what you guys think? i'm really scared don't wanna hear someday a cracking sound and then check how my motherboard, cpu or socket is broken.

ps: there's no sign of motherboard bending or deformity, everything looks cool, anyway ill check it every 2-3 days.
