Hello! just simple question.
I am fairly new at computer hardware i know my specs but having a hard time to find comparability between components. My concern is i am looking to upgrade the my PC a quite bit without having to overhaul the HP Compaq Pro 6300 motherboard but if the components are not compatible i would like to ask the best graphics card compatible with the motherboard.

There are instances where an incompatible UEFI BIOS have resulted in GTX1000 series card to produce nothing but a black screen in spite of the system booting into desktop GUI. You can try and update the motherboard BIOS and in it's current state, without a change in the PSU. However you should know that it would be temporary since the GTX1050Ti require that your PSU has 350W of power to deliver to the entire system. your unit can output only 240W. This number is less when you factor in the age of the PSU.

Short answer, save up and then shell out on a good system and get that GPU of your choice. A bad or failing/faulty PSU can take out more than itself.
