Hey everyone so I overcooked my i5 4690k to 4.4GHz at 1.142v (though in aida it says 1.152) , my max temp was 74c after 6 hrs in aida64. I'm using a cryorig h7 is this a decent overclock?

I tried @ 4.7 but it wouldn't boot but I'm not sure what voltage I should try for it. Or if it would be too hot.

If voltage is set to adaptive, the LLC will decide how accurate it is, and 1.15 isnt bad at all. Its a good overclock if its stable, but see can you adjust the voltage a bit more (even tho its great like that). Dont go over 1.25V from my experience. And you can always move it 0.01v back and back until you find the best spot. Also AIDA64 temps will not be reached sometimes, because your PC wont be under that load, ever.

Ok thanks I dropped the voltage to 1.130 and it seems to be running fine.
