How far will I be able to overclock i5 8600k with Cryorig r1 ultimate?

Solution
It will depend on your individual CPU plus your other components.

Your results will be typical of a top air cooled system.
I know some people are getting close to 5GHz on air (Noctua NH15). So something over 4.5GHz is realistic.

It will depend on your case airflow and the luck of the draw.

Just be prepared to have a CPU fail if you push too hard.

Hey. Couldn't find a PM button so I'll ask here if you don't mind. I'm planning my next build with 8600k, P400S (tempered glass) and a Cryorig R1 (Ultimate or Universal) but it seems like I might have a problem with cooler-case compability since the Cryorig is 168.3mm and according to P400S specs it can fit a maximum of 160mm height coolers. I've already found that one for the redditors had a Noctua D15 which is 165mm. SO, here's my question to @koppierijt Were you able to fit that cooler into this case without any problems? I'd love to know before I order all the parts.
