CPU clock at maximum even when pc is idle

I just overclocked my ryzen 1300x from 3.5 to 3.7ghz because boost is only reaching 3.6 when it's on auto. My concern now is the clock is always at maximum even when i'm not using the pc. My mobo is b350.

Depends on the way you OC-ed. If you just adjusted multiplier, it will always stay at set frequency but don't worry, power CPU uses will fluctuate with load and temperatures with it.
If you have AMD Ryzen Balanced power plan installed, you may want to adjust CPU Minimum power state to 5% and see what happens.
