My CPU hit up 90 - 95 C while playing PUBG for around 30 minutes
I have a Dell Inspiron 5559 with
CPU : Intel I7 6500U 2.6 Ghz 2 Cores
GPU : Render (AMD Radeon r5 M335) , Display (Intel HD Graphics 520)
i know it's shitty specs for PUBG but i'm playing at a Very Low Quality and overclocking my GPU to play well and the CPU working with 60% and a passive cooling system.
But i noticed that the CPU temp reaching to 90 - 95 C after 30 minutes of playing....
So is this safe for the laptop... and how to reduce this temp?
BTW i didn't change my thermal paste or even cleaned the fans from dust because i dont have any experience in Hardwares!
excuse my terrible English :D
Thanks :D

You can be certain Dell did not set a goal to keep the CPU at 'cool' temps when gaming, being likely more concerned with merely stopping it from overheating during a worst case workload, ....which you are invoking with any sort of gaming load.....

Laptops are always going to run hotter, but 90-95C is still a little high. You want it to stay in the low 80's if possible.
1. You could always get a tech to replace the thermal paste and thermal pads with something higher quality.
2. The overclocks definitely don't help since the gpu and the cpu are probably on the same heatsink. You might try dialing it back to see if it helps temps.
3. A lot of people have a lot of luck with undervolting the cpu. Here's a good tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vfIxf73RGEg
4. Get a cooling pad that works with the cooling system on your laptop. You just want to make sure that it isn't disrupting airflow.

the problem if i didn't push my gpu a little the game will become laggy and unplayable so i have to overclock it..
i found that the maximum temp for my cpu is 100C and while playing the amd and intel gpu temp 60 to 75C
so do you think is it safe?
and changing my thermal paste will solve my problem?

it could drop it a few degrees I definitely recommend it as they usually put cheap paste on them, that is the problem with laptops you cant just slap a fan in it or a better heatsink you are kinda stuck I had the same issue with my old laptop but the cooling fan pad a mentioned above is also a great idea

that's is the temp in the first 10 min of gaming and after another 10 min it can go up with 10 degrees for each one of them
